About Biakoye

A Ghanaian word.
A universal idea.

Biakoye — meaning "unity" — is more than the name of our project. It is the principle that guides every initiative we lead and every community we serve.

Founded by youth leaders, public health professionals, and policy researchers, The Biakoye Project brings together evidence-based programs in three areas where unified action drives the greatest impact: health, education, and policy.

We don't parachute into communities. We build alongside them — listening first, designing together, and creating systems that outlast any single intervention.

Our Three Pillars

Where unified action meets measurable change

Every program we run sits within one of three connected focus areas — designed to strengthen each other and the communities we serve.

01 — Health

Health Infrastructure

Strengthening rural clinics with equipment, training, and the systems to keep them operating long after we leave.

  • Maternal & child health programs
  • Equipment & supply provisioning
  • Community health worker training
  • Telehealth pilot programs
02 — Education

STEM Education

Bringing science, technology, and engineering into Ghanaian classrooms with hands-on learning kits and mentor networks.

  • Robotics & coding clubs
  • Girls-in-STEM mentorship
  • Teacher training workshops
  • School science lab equipping
03 — Policy

Policy & Advocacy

Translating community evidence into the policy reforms that build a more equitable Ghana — and a stronger civic voice for youth.

  • Public policy research
  • Youth leadership training
  • Stakeholder convenings
  • Legislative engagement
